Jeevan Surabhi Fifteen Years:

LIC's Jeevan Surabhi is a plan that not only provides financial security for you during your retirement age, but also it provides money at regular installments.  Similar to the money back plans but the maturity duration for this plan is longer than the premium paying duration.

This plan also offers a sooner and greater rate of survival benefit.  Your life cover in this plan will be increased with the pass of every five years.

There are three distinguished terms in this plan.  They are fifteen, twenty and twenty five years and their equivalent premium paying term is twelve, fifteen and eighteen years.

Premiums can be paid according to one's wish monthly, quarterly, half yearly, or annually.  One can even opt to have the premiums deducted from one's salary.

You will receive the following benefits from LIC's Jeevan Surabhi:
In the event of death the beneficiary receives the total sum assured along with all the bonuses, as well as the additional cover, even though a certain sum has already been received earlier.

If it should mature while the insured is alive they will receive the sum assured as well as a lump amount of all the bonuses that are applicable to him during the policy term.  Supplementary benefits and additional protection benefits are possible.

Existing policy can be surrendered after completing three full policy years of payment.  One can receive a guatanteed surrender value. Though this may seem beneficial but it is not advisable since a policy gets its full benefits only after completion or death whichever is earlier.

LIC's Jeevan Surabhi is the best policy to opt for if one is in the habit of obtaning money is small amounts against the policy.  This can be taken care of and one does not have to borrow but instead one's own money can be received while alive.  This would help with many expenses that one faces in life.
