HDFC ERGO :

India's Premier Housing Finance institution, HDF Limited together with ERGO International AG (Munich Group's primary insurance entity) joined together for a joint venture to form the HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Limited. HDFC has 74% of the stake while the rest of the 26% goes to ERGO International.

HDFC ERGO's main goal is to provide the "Right Insurance Solution" for everyone. The company provides a wide array of insurance products to choose from including Health, Motor, Travel, Home and Personal Accident, Property, Liability and Marine.

Their distribution channels comprise of Dealerships, Retails and Corporate Agents Direct Sales Team and Bancassurance. Their presence is seen in 46 cities in India with its 52 satellite offices and an employee base of over 650 professionals.
